Are you washing your masks regularly? If you are not certain on how to wash your masks here are some steps you can take.
Make sure you are careful not to touch the face part whenever you remove your mask. It's best to carefully remove your mask from the elastic and immediately place it in your washing machine or sink if you are washing by hand.
It is recommended to wash your mask by hand but you can wash Bri L. masks in the washing machine with like colors. It's best to use warm or hot temperature to ensure you kill any germs on the mask. You can use your regular laundry detergent to wash it.
It is best to hang your mask to dry. The heat from the dryer can damage the elastic as well as shrink your mask. You can air dry them in front of a window. The sun can be a natural disinfectant.
It is best to iron your mask to not only make it flat and smooth again, but to kill any remaining germs. It's also best to iron the filter as well to allow it to fit flat inside the mask.
Note: To avoid losing the adjusters in the washer, I would suggest you gently tie them in a way so they will not come off. You can also remove them and put them in a safe place while you're washing you mask. You can use a hair pin to put them back on by slipping the elastic in between the pin and slipping the pin through the larger opening of the adjusters.
